Introduction to the functions of magnesium sulfate:
Magnesium is the central element of chlorophyll, which is essential for photosynthesis. Magnesium is the activator of many enzymes, which can promote carbohydrate metabolism, nucleic acid synthesis, phosphate conversion and so on. Magnesium, as a component of polynuclear proteins, is involved in protein synthesis, and as a constituent of some chromosomes, it acts as the transmission medium of genetic genes.
Firstly(一、): Magnesium sulfate used in agriculture
Sulfur and magnesium can provide abundant nutrients for crops, help them grow and increase yield, and can loosen soil and improve soil quality. Symptoms of sulfur and magnesium deficiency:
1. It lead to exhaustion and death if it’s serious lacked.
2. The leaves became smaller and its edge will became damp off.
3. Marbled spots of light orange, red and purple will appear.
4. Susceptible to bacterial infections and premature defoliation.
Secondly(二、): Magnesium sulfate used in stock raising: Magnesium fertilizer is generally applied in grasslands from early spring to the end of the year, or until the grass can provide adequate magnesium. It satisfies the demand of milch cow by adding some proportion,so as to improve the milk quality and increase the milk quantity.
Thirdly(三、): Application of magnesium sulfate in daily life
1. Adding an appropriate amount of magnesium sulfate to foot soap and shower solution can remove beriberi, reduce muscle hardness, quickly eliminate fatigue, and make rough skin soft and smooth.
2. Adding an appropriate amount of magnesium sulfate to shampoo can help reduce hair oiliness and make hair smoother.
3. Can be used for artificial snow making, for television crew filming.
Fourthly:(四、)Magnesium sulfate is used in medicine: it has functions such as cathartic, anti-inflammatory, detumescence, detoxification, pain relief, central nervous system inhibition, anticonvulsant, and spasmolytic effects.
Fifthly:(五、)Application of Magnesium sulfate in industry: as a synthetic additive for ABS and PVC resins, in papermaking, printing and dyeing, in monosodium glutamate and yeast fermentation,etc.
Sixthly(六、): Magnesium sulfate containing little crystalline water or non- crystalline water can be used as desiccant for organic synthesis and feed & fertilizer.
